The Z-Flex Fluidized Heel Boot is a pressure-redistributing heel protector designed for the prevention and management of heel pressure injuries (pressure ulcers) in immobile or bed-bound patients. The fluidised polymer beads inside the boot conform to the contours of the heel and lower leg, redistributing pressure away from the bony prominence of the calcaneus and reducing the risk of tissue ischaemia and ulceration. The boot opens fully for easy application without lifting the limb, includes adjustable straps for secure fit, and supports off-loading of the heel from the support surface during bed rest.
