The Breath-A-Tech Anti-Static Spacer (with Mouthpiece and Valve) is a hand-held, portable valved holding chamber (VHC) designed to improve the delivery of asthma and COPD medication via a pressurised metered dose inhaler (pMDI). The anti-static chamber walls reduce electrostatic attraction of medication particles, improving fine-particle delivery to the small airways, while the integrated one-way valve allows the patient to inhale at their own pace and prevents medication escaping into the air. Suitable for adults and older children using the mouthpiece directly, and the flexible silicone end cap fits most standard inhalers.
