Each strip is individually foil-wrapped to protect against moisture and bacterial cross-contamination, accepts venous, arterial, or capillary whole blood samples (including neonatal heelstick), and is validated across a wide haematocrit range of 15–65% with a measurement range of 1.1–27.8 mmol/L.
