The Nasopharyngeal Airway (28FG, 7.0mm, Soft PVC) is a single-use, latex-free soft PVC airway designed to maintain a patent airway via the nasal route in semi-conscious or unconscious patients where an oropharyngeal (Guedel) airway is not tolerated. The soft, lubricated nasal trumpet design conforms to the anatomy of the nasal passage and posterior pharynx, while the flared proximal flange prevents over-insertion and supports atraumatic retention. The 7.0mm internal diameter (28 French gauge) is sized for the corresponding patient anatomy per the manufacturer's guidance; Insert using a water-soluble lubricant and follow the natural curvature of the nasal passage. Single use only; Contraindicated in suspected basal skull fracture and severe nasal trauma. Supplied as a box of 10.
