The Cutan 2% Chlorhexidine Gluconate Foaming Skin Cleanser (formerly Deb branded) is an antiseptic foaming handwash from SC Johnson Professional designed for clinical hand hygiene where a chlorhexidine-based product is required prior to any care activity involving contact with mucous membranes, non-intact skin, or invasive medical devices. The 2% chlorhexidine gluconate formulation complies with EN 1499 requirements for hygienic hand washing and is independently tested as non-irritating in 48-hour semi-occlusive patch testing, with added glycerin to moisturise the skin during frequent use. Perfume-free and dye-free, the silky-smooth foam provides a pleasant hand washing experience with a 60-second wash time using 3mL (two doses) on wet hands.
