The Polar Preformed Nasotracheal Tube (6.0mm, North Direction, Cuffed) is a single-use preformed nasotracheal tube manufactured from medical-grade PVC, designed for nasal intubation during oral and maxillofacial surgery, dental anaesthesia, and other procedures where the tube must direct northward (over the patient's forehead) away from the surgical field. The Polar preform produces a more pronounced upward curve than standard RAE nasal tubes, providing maximum clearance of the operative field, while the high-volume low-pressure cuff inflates via the integrated pilot balloon to seal the trachea and allow positive-pressure ventilation. Radiopaque line, depth markings, Murphy eye distal to the tip, and a standard 15mm ISO connector at the proximal end support correct placement, monitoring, and circuit connection. Supplied sterile as a box of 10 tubes; Single use only.
