The Yellow Body Filter (Suction) is a single-use hydrophobic bacterial and viral filter designed for in-line use between a portable suction unit and its collection jar or liner. The filter prevents the ingress of fluids and aerosolised pathogens into the suction pump mechanism, protecting both the device and subsequent patients from cross-contamination and extending the service life of the unit. The yellow colour-coded housing assists with quick identification during routine equipment checks. Single use per patient or per collection canister; Replace immediately if the filter becomes wetted or visibly soiled.
