The Cami Askir Antibacterial Suction Filter (Pack of 10) is a pack of single-use hydrophobic bacterial and viral filters designed for in-line use with CA-MI Askir portable suction units. Fitted between the collection jar and the suction pump, each filter prevents fluids and aerosolised pathogens from entering the pump mechanism, protecting the device and subsequent patients from cross-contamination. Replacement on a single-patient-use basis is required, and the filter must be changed immediately if it becomes wetted or visibly soiled.
