The Intubating Stylet (Size 10 French Gauge) is a single-use semi-rigid malleable stylet designed to be passed through an endotracheal tube to assist intubation by providing temporary rigidity and shape to the tube during placement. The aluminium or steel core with a soft polymer coating allows the operator to bend the stylet (and tube) into the optimal anatomical curve for the patient's airway, while a closed atraumatic distal tip prevents tracheal trauma. The 10 French gauge is sized to fit the corresponding endotracheal tube internal diameter; The stylet must be withdrawn before advancing the tube into the trachea. Supplied sterile, single use only.
