The Askina Barrier Cream is a concentrated white moisturising barrier cream from B. Braun, formulated to protect dry, chafed, or irritated skin from prolonged exposure to body fluids, including urine and faeces. The highly concentrated formulation requires only a small amount to cover a large surface area, forming a durable protective barrier that does not reduce the absorbency of incontinence pads or the adherence of fixation tapes and dressings. Indicated for the prevention of incontinence-associated dermatitis, protection of fragile periwound skin, and moisturising of severely dry skin in adults, children, and infants over twelve weeks of age. Supplied in a 92g tube for individual patient use; Apply to intact skin only.
