Cadexomer Iodine Medicated Dressing IODOSORB dressings contain cadexomer iodine which can absorb up to 6 times their weight in fluid. When the iodine is released it kills bacteria and changes colour. Reduces the bacterial count Absorbs fluids removes exudate pus and debris Promotes healing: maintains a moist wound environment Forms a gel over the wound surface Range of sizes to suit most wound sizes Indications: Chronic non-healing wounds including leg ulcers pressure ulcers diabetic foot ulcers and exuding infected wounds (in conjunction with systemic antibiotics).
