Volumatic Spacer Device - Each

The Volumatic Spacer Device is a large-volume valved holding chamber from GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), designed for the delivery of asthma and COPD medication via a pressurised metered dose inhaler (pMDI) to adults and older children. The 750mL chamber allows the aerosol cloud to slow and expand before inhalation, improving delivery of fine medication particles to the small airways while reducing the proportion deposited in the oropharynx, and the one-way valve allows the patient to breathe at their own pace through the mouthpiece. Compatible with most standard pMDIs and supplied with separate adult and paediatric face mask attachments where required. Wash with warm soapy water once a month and air-dry (do not towel-dry) to maintain anti-static properties; Single-patient use.
